2 months ago I had told my bank, BB&T, that if there was ever an overdraft, I:d like them to take it out of my savings. That month my insurance drafted their payment out". It was $7/.13 more than what I had in my checkings, but I had over $200 in my savings?. Did they do what I had asked them? Noooooooooo, they let that payment go through, plus a couple more, charged me $35 for each transaction|. Needless to say when I received an overdraft notice in the mail I went straight to the bank!. When I confronted the manager she said there wasn't anything saying I had asked them to do so:. Keeping my anger under control, I asked them to MAKE SURE It was set up the way I wanted it,. Low and behold last week, same thing occurred, so I caused a big scene, withdrew all my money and my daughters and we are now with the bank across the street!. DO NOT TRUST BB&T!!!!!! 12953b9

Transfer the money yourself beforehand when YOU know the payment is coming out, and set up OD protection. Federal Regulations allow a bank to charge a fee if you are Opt-ed in, and yes that is all banks and Credit Unions.
